It's gone too quickly!

Friday is my last day with my first graders until January. I will be rotating to 2 other schools and 2 different grades within the next 2 months. Frist, I will be heading to a Kindergarten class and then to a 3rd grade class. I'm eager to see other classrooms and learn different strategies and approaches, but I'm sad to be leaving my kids and mentor teacher. I have a feeling that these next few months will fly by because I'll be working on my big research project and studying for my Praxis tests - those are the test I have to take to get my license. I've already had a nightmare that I took the test but hadn't studied at all. Hopefully I'll be taking some pictures on Friday of my class so that I can post them on here so you can see all my kiddos! I've had a few that have told me they will miss me, but I've had some others that say they won't...I doubt that. I've enjoyed getting to talk to them throughout the day and hear the funny things they have to say. We've got a little couple forming already...who knows when I come back they will probably have been married on the playground, so cute! I'm beginning to see lots of progress being made with some of them in reading and writing, and I hope to see lots of growth when I return in January.
